In this film, I begin by comparing the physical similarities between myself and other female familial relations, my grandmother, mother and sister, as well as emphasize physical aspects unique to myself, namely my scars from cooking. After these comparisons, I then begin slapping myself.

A slap may not scar, but it still leaves a mark. Throughout different generations, by virtue of having a gender, each of us have faced the same questions with different degrees and nuances –

What are the duties and personifications forced upon each of us, male and female, simply by being a certain gender? And how do all of us, by conforming to those ideas, hurt ourselves?

I end the film looking at you, the viewer, for I have no answer.
